The Sherwood Bands Booster Club is a 501c(3) organization made up of parents, guardians, friends and alumni of band students in the band programs of the Sherwood School District. Our purpose is to support and improve the band program at the middle and high school levels through volunteer and fundraising efforts; and to promote understanding of, and interest in, the band program among the surrounding community and businesses.
There are many administrative and physical details to running an award-winning program. The Boosters assist with every performance and competition including food, transportation, equipment transport and uniform maintenance. They also fundraise to pay for specialized clinicians, instruments and repairs, scholarships, trip expenses, and a host of other items throughout the year. If your child is part of the program, then you are part of the support system. Please check the open Booster Board positions below and click on the Volunteer Page for how you can help. There's a job for everyone!

The Band Booster Board meets on the second Monday of every month at 7 pm, often inthe SHS Band room. All band parents are welcome to attend!
If you care about a Sherwood band student, you are a band booster. The executive committee that directs the efforts of the Sherwood band boosters consists of twelve members. Each elected executive committee member chairs a group of various sub-committee members.
