The Band Booster Board generally meets the second Monday of every month at 7 pm in the SHS Band room. Changes to the meeting will be posted on our Home page. All band parents are welcome to attend. We also offer a Zoom option.
The Booster Board consists of sixteen members: eleven Executive Committee members and ten additional Board members. There are also additional team leads and helper positions that are considered non-Board members. The attached flow chart shows the structure of responsibilities for the Board.

Sherwood Band Boosters is a 501c(3) charitable organization benefitting every Sherwood Middle and High School Band, Musician, and Teacher. We fund scholarships for those in need, instruments, repairs, uniforms, food, transportation, equipment, and more. Our Musicians and Bands learn so much more than music while consistently ranking at the top of State and Regional competitions — including the Sherwood Percussion Ensemble qualifying for the 2022 WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio next April. Our goal is to raise $100,000 annually to maintain and advance this level of excellence in youth development. Join us in Creating Opportunity Through Music!

This show is a blast but act quickly because we anticipate the live event to sell out.
Swingin' the Green Needs Your Help!
Swingin' The Green is the largest annual fundraiser sponsored by Sherwood Band Boosters. The success of the event will determine what band activities can occur during the coming school year. Please join us in making it a success!
We are looking for volunteers to help with guest check-in at the event. Specifically:
1) A tech orientation session is scheduled for Sunday, March 27 from 6pm to 8pm at 14692 Major Oak Dr. Sherwood, OR 97140. Bring a laptop.
2) On Saturday, April 2 from 4pm to 6pm meet at the Oregon Golf Club for the event itself. Bring your laptop.

Sherwood High School hosts one of the Competitive Winter Showcases for Winter Programs: Percussion, Guard and Winds. Parents are needed throughout the day to make this event happen. It's great experience for the participating students, but it is also a large fundraiser for the band program as a whole! Please find a shift or two that you can sign up for. Every hour you volunteer results in funding for the music program.
